Oxford Success Calls! Mount Pupil Gets Oxford Geography Offer & Other Offers Already in
We are delighted that Eulalie in College II has just received an offer to study Geography at University of Oxford. Huge congratulations!
The deadline for university applications is the end of January. However, College pupils from The Mount School York have already received 50 top quality university offers.
As College II pupils are currently preparing for their upcoming mock exams, our pupils can look forward to further successes in the future, as they have already received truly outstanding university offers from world-class institutions. These include several of the top global universities:

Eulalie said: “It’s really exciting. I have wanted to go to Oxford since I was 4! I was delighted to be invited to interview after having six practice sessions in school but there’s only 30% who make it through this stage. I chose Geography as I enjoy it and I’m interested in climate change.”

The range of subjects on offer at The Mount, alongside the wide range of extracurricular activities available, allows pupils to continue to follow their passions at university.
This is reflected by our College II cohort applying to study 12 different subjects at university. This year these include subjects as wide-ranging as Geography, Fashion Management, Mathematics, Game Design, Mechanical Engineering, Physiotherapy, Chemistry, Biology and Business Management. It has been wonderful to see College II pupils taking advantage of the wide range of opportunities available, allowing them to access such a diverse range of subjects at university.
