Intensive Ceramics Workshop

Over the weekend, pupils were invited to attend an intensive ceramics workshop where they could hone their craft and discover new techniques. 

The five-hour session, led by Ms Atkinson, Housemistress & Head of Boarding, covered an extensive range of hand-building techniques and allowed the girls to sculpt and create impressive artistic final outcomes. 

Berlin, in year 11 successfully produced a magnificent fish sculpture and was pleased with her achievements over the duration of the session, confirming, “It was such a successful afternoon and I accomplished so much. I learnt many techniques that I will definitely use in the future. I think with the amount of time we had and the help and support, we were capable of making something so ambitious and impressive. It was a wonderful afternoon!”
